New Statement Of Faith

Over the past three years the Evangelical Free Church of America has been looking at our Statement of Faith.  The current statement was adopted in 1950 when the Swedish & Norwegian/Danish churches merged to become the EFCA.  After many hours of work and many public meetings a new Statement of Faith was presented to the delegates at the EFCA National Conference on June 26, 2008.  86% of these delegates voted to adopt the new statement.  This Statement is now the official Statement of the EFCA.  The new Statement can be read by Clicking Here.  This fall I plan to preach a series based on the new statement.  Following this series we will as a church consider amending our bylaws to reflect the new statement.
