A great weekend

What an awesome time we had on Sunday.  Dana reminded us of our responsibility to serve the children of our community.  We exist to glorify God by sharing his love with our community.  Over the years Adventure Club has reached out to hundreds of kids and their families.  Many have come to faith and many more have learned to walk with Jesus daily.   Please be in prayer over the next two weeks as we get ready to launch our student ministries.  I am believing that God is going to change this community as we share God's love.

Also on Sunday, seven students reported on their trip to Utah.  I am so proud of them.  They stood before the church and shared what God had done in their lives.  Among many things, they learned that we are called to love and serve all people.  God is at work in the lives of students all around us.  Pray for these students as they go back to school.    They live in a world that has given up on the church and Jesus.  Difficulties and temptation abound all around them.  God is doing something amazing here.  Let's join him and see what only God can do.
